Environmental Protection and Awareness

A very good morning to all of my friends, respected teachers, director of our school and principal sir. I have been selected from our class to deliver a speech on the topic "Environmental protection and awareness" So, I would like to request all of you to hear my speech very carefully.

Friends, Environment is a term generally referred to describe the all living and non-living factors on earth that occurs naturally. The everything that is not human made is a part of nature. Basically, Those things are the part of environment. Environment includes plants, animals, birds, mountains, sky, clouds, weather, wind, water etc. Also, Environment of this world was really beautiful. But in past some years, Humans has destructed the environment almost TOTALLY. This is just for their welfare.

Environmental awareness simply refers to spreading the thought of preservation of factors of earth and environmentalism. Also, This is very sensitive topic that needs to be handled very carefully. Various organisations and institutions are started various awareness programs about environmental protection. Also they are CLARIFYING the consequences of environment to health and economy.

In the past 50 years, Due to industrialization and increased demand of vehicles, the planet earth's condition has became very BAD. The smoke released from industries, vehicles is polluting air at large consequence. Release of toxic materials in water and use of plastic is polluting the soil and water. In this way, The earth is getting polluted and poor in terms of cleanness and that all.

For Humans growth and development and welfare, Humans are destroying forests and tress which are source of their life. Humans are polluting air and disturbing the balance of the Earth. Besides this, In some years we would lost our all energy resources. If this condition of earth will be continued, then the life on earth will be also not possible.

We must start from ourselves to conserve and preserve the environment. Our environment and planet earth is really rare and PRECIOUS. Only Earth is the planet where life exists. We must try to conserve the environment. We should use electricity only on necessary, We should save trees and not do the things like deforestation, Industries which releases harmful chemicals in air and water should be banned, we should use the public transport most of the times etc.

According to study conducted in year 2008, The leading concern of the environmentalism is pollution. So we must avoid doing pollution. To start this from ourselves, we can start using public transport for travelling short distance, We should not use high frequency emitting sound bars for hearing music.

If we start protecting environment from ourselves and then if we started to aware the other people about environment, then surely we will again have clear and clean environment with awesome green nature and beautiful environment. If the environment will be always clean and clean without pollution, then the level of peace in that area will INCREASE automatically.
