State the sign of the charge acquired by an object when it is charged, bypositively charged rod, through (a) conduction (b) induction.for your statement..Give the reason |
|
Answer» a) When charged by conduction, the extra positive charges flow through the object until they reach an equilibrium. Thus it becomes positively charged. b) When charged by induction, the negative ions get attracted towards the positively charged body and flow towards one side of the body. The object as a whole remains neutral but the side towards the positively charged object gets negatively charged. Please hit the like button if this helped you |
