Angle of incidence</p><p>It depends up on angle of incidence (i) because of the relation i + e = A + δ</p><p>2. Angle of prism (A)</p><p>Because of the above mathematical relation.</p><p>4. Wavelength of the light used</p><p>Different colors of light have different wavelengths and each colour travel with different speed inside the prism material. Due to this difference in speed inside the prism each colour has got different refractive indices for the same prism material, since angle of deviation depends upon the refractive index of the prism, so it in turn depends up on the wavelength of light used. </p> | |
