Answer»

Solution

The PROFIT shares of the TWO are PROPORTIONAL to the weighted average of investment and time.
Sunetra invested 50000 for 3 years and Nikhil invested 80000 for 2.5 years.

Hence, the RELATIVE RATIO is 50000*36 : 80000*30 = 180:240 = 3:4

Total profit is 24500.
Hence, Sunetra's share in it is 3/7*24500 = 10500
