I, Garima Kumari of class XI of Govt. Sr. Sec. School, Khajalpura, Chaksu, Jaipur stand to support the motion : A Bharat Brand of English is the Need of the Hour’. Nowadays English has been localised. We have American English, Australian English, Canadian English and so forth. Can’t we have Indian English (Bharat Brand of English)? My previous speakers have also supported the motion. My opponents should comprehend that English is a street language nowadays. Thank you.

II. Good morning everybody
I, Gaurav Gupta of class XI of Govt. Sr. Sec. School, Sirohi stand to oppose the motion : ‘A Bharat Brand of English is the Need of the Hour’. My opponents must learn that English has been the language of the cruel rulers, British. They tried to denigrate our mother tongue. They damaged the Indian culture by spreading English culture. To learn English for the sake of knowledge is right. But it should not be the part of our culture. I hope we should learn from Japan and China. We must spread the acceptance of Hindi and not of English. Thank you.
