Solution :-

★ Let the breadth be X then its length be (x + 8)

  • Perimeter of rectangle = 84 cm

According to Question

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(length + breadth)

→ 84 = 2[(x + 8) + x]

→ 84 = 2[x + 8 + x]

→ 84 = 2[2x + 8]

→ 84 = 4X + 16

→ 4x = 84 - 16

→ 4x = 68

→ x = 68/4 = 17

Hence,

  • Breadth of rectangle = x = 17cm
  • Length of rectangle = (x + 8) = 25
