Given:-

  • The length and width of rectangle is in the ratio of 3:5.

  • The Perimeter if rectangle is 48cm

To Find:-

  • The Length and width.

Formulae USED:-

  • Perimeter = 2(L + B).

Now,

Let the ratio be "x".

Length of Rectangle = 3x

Breadth of Rectangle = 5x

Perimeter of Rectangle = 2(L + B).

48 = 2(3X + 5x)

48 = 16x

x = 48/16

x = 3.

Putting the VALUE of "x" .

Length of the Rectangle = 3x = 9cm

Breadth of Rectangle = 5x = 15cm.

  • Area of Square = Side × Side

  • Perimeter of Square = 4 × Side

  • Area of Rhombus = Product of Diagonal/2
