1.

The sum of the digit of the two digit number is 9. when the digits are reversed the difference of the number is?

Answer»

Answer:

Let the TEN’s DIGIT be x and the unit’s digit be y.

So the NUMBER formed is 10x+y

Given x+y=9

Reversed number=10y+x

Given, 10y+x=9+10x+y

9y=9+9x

y=1+x

Putting this in EQUATION 1, we get

x+1+x=9

2x=8

x=4

y=9–4=5

So the number is 45
