The voltage source shown in the fig. is a square wave source. Its polarity changes after every t_(0) = 50 tau second [tau = RC is time constant of the R – C circuit]. The magnitude of voltage across the source remains constant at V_(0). When A is at higher potential compared to B the graph depicts the voltage as positive. Negative voltage means that terminal B is positive.
