This day highlights the importance and uses of coconuts. In India, World Coconut Day is celebrated with the guidance of Coconut Development Board in several coconut growing states. On 2nd September 2018, Coconut Development Board celebrated the World Coconut Day 2018 along with the Department of Horticulture, Government of Chhattisgarh with the theme 'Coconut for Good Health, Wealth & Wellness'.
