Answer» Solution :For the separation of p-hydroxy benzonic acid and p-aminobenzoic acid the solutuion is TREATED with `HCL` Therseore . p-aminobezoic acid REMAINS in solution as from of ammonium salt while p-hydroxoybenzion acid is not soluble (so it is separted easily ). ![]() Test (1) With ` NaHCO_3` both evolce effervescenes of `CO_2`. Test (2) : Azo due test : p-Aminobenzonic acid does not . Test (3) : Liebermann nitrosos test : p-Huydroxy BENZOIC acid gives Liebemann nitroso test , while p-amino benzoic acid does not . |
