If the visual angle increases , the size of the IMAGE formed on the retina also increases. i.e ., the object APPEARS to be of large size . The lamp POSTS situated at large distances from a viewer subtend small angles at the EYES. Hence the lamp posts SEEN from large distances appear to be relatively short. | |
