Answer» During the 56th meeting of Standing Scientific Research Committee of the Ministry, Anil Jain, Secretary of Coal ministry launched a website to disseminate and promote Research and Development(R&D) activities in the coal sector. The website was developed by Central Mines Planning and Design Institute Limited (CMPDI),R&D arm of Coal India Limited (CIL). The website also promote science and technology research in the coal and lignite sector. Pralhad Joshi is the present coal minister of India.
