3x-y= 5---①

4x-2y=3---②

From EQUATION 1 we'll CONVERT the whole Equation into x or y form:

=> x = (5+y)/3-----

Now, put Equation 3 into 2

=> 4x-2y=3

=> 4(5+y/3) -2y=3

=> 20+4y/3 -2y=3

=> 20+4y-6y/3 = 3

=> 20-2y/3= 3

=> 20-2y= 9

=> 20-9= 2y

=> 11= 2y

=> y= 11/2

Put y's value into equation 3

=> x= (5+y)/3

=> x= (5+11/2)/3

=>x= 5*2+11/2)÷3

=> x= 10+11/2÷3

=>x= 21/2÷3

=> x= 21/6= 7/2

=> x= 7/2

Check:

=> 3x-y= 5

=> 3(7/2)-11/2

=> 21/2-11/2

=> 10/2

=5

Since,LHS = RHS(VERIFIED)
