Answer» Chain transfer is the process in which the activity of the growing polymer is transferred to another so that the growth of the polymer occur.For ex., in free radical polymerisation, initiators act as a chain transfer agent.Initiators are the one which generate the chain – initiating species. Initiator molecules contain O – O or S – S or N – O bonds.
