Combustible materials: The materials which burn when brought near a flame are called combustible materials, 

e.g. : Petrol, diesel, kerosene, etc. 

Non-combustible materials: The materials which do not burn when brought near a flame are called noncombustible materials, 

e.g.: Pebbles, sand, clay, iron, etc.
