Answer» SOLUTION :Some substances are ADDED to soap to make it more useful for PARTICULAR applications. For example, sodium rosinate is added to LAUNDRY soap to increase its foaming CAPACITY. Glycerol is added in shaving soaps to prevent it from drying.
