What are paramagnetic materials ? Give examples. |
| Answer» Solution :PARAMAGNETIC materials : These materials are attracted by magnetic fields. They contain permanent magnetic DIPOLES due to presence of atoms, IONS or molecules with unpaired electrons. Eg, `O_(2), Cu^(2+), Fe^(2+) and Cr^(3+)` etc. The magnetic dipoles are REPRESENTED by ARROWS. | |
