What are the salient traits of a cross-functional team? |

Answer» The ability for a team to be cross-functional is fundamental to all agile methodologies. A cross-functional team should be BALANCED on technical skill levels and domain knowledge should be diverse and PERSISTENT. The team structure should reflect that of a feature team who can better EVALUATE the impact of DESIGN decisions. A cross-functional team need to be balanced between being too GENERALISTS and being to specialists and it does not require any specific role. |
