Answer» At first, Swami hoped that his father was only joking. He tried to change the subject but in vain. He told his father that he would start sleeping alone from the first of next month. When his father held the newspaper before his face, he rose silently and went to his bed in the passage and lay down under a blanket till his father pulled it away. पहले तो स्वामी ने यह सोचा कि उसके पिता मजाक कर रहे हैं। उसने इस विषय को बदलना चाहा, किंतु व्यर्थ रहा। उसने अपने पिता से कहा कि वह अगले महीने के प्रारंभ में अकेले सोना प्रारंभ करेगा। जब उसके पिता ने समाचार-पत्र उसके चेहरे के समक्ष रखा तो वह चुपके से उठी तथा बिस्तर पर जाकर कंबल के नीचे तब तक छुपा रहा जब तक कि उसके पिता ने कंबल खींच नहीं लिया। |
