Ghasilal gathered other farmers in the chaupal and told them that if all farmers pool their small fields/small holdings and unify them and pool the little amount of money lying with every farmer and collect it, then they can improve their farms and buy modem machines for farming. This type of farming is known as cooperative farming. 

Ghasilal told about the following benefits of cooperative farming system to the other farmers:

1. Cooperative farming would be beneficial for all the farmers. 

2. Production will increase by collective efforts. 

3. The small amount of money will be pooled to obtain a large amount and they would be able to buy modern machines for farming. 

4. All the fields could be pooled to form a large area for cultivation. 

5. The agricultural produce will increase many times due to which their income would also increase. 

6. All the farmers would gain the share of income on the basis of their contribution and proportion of their land holdings.
