Answer» Local self-administration is the system in which the local people participate in finding solution to their own problems and in preparing and implementing the development schemes for their area. Rajasthan has rural and urban local self-governing institutions. They are Rural Institutions – Gram Panchayat, Gram Sabha, Panchayat Samiti and Zila Parishad. Urban Institutions – Municipality, City Council, City Corporation and Cantonment Board. |
