Answer» Droughts happen when it does not rain for a long period of TIME. It is not like a dry SPELL but there is a little precipitation such as rain, snow, etc., that a region starts to dry out. Sometimes a drought TAKES a few decades to DEVELOP fully and they cannot be easily PREDICTED. |
