Answer» Solution :When `As_2 S_3` and `Fe(OH)_3`sols are MIXED, coagulation occurs. Since `Fe(OH)_3`is POSITIVELY CHARGED and `As_2S_3`is negatively charged, their charges are NEUTRALISED when mixed and PRECIPITATION occurs.
