I need a clear explaination.. and also think about this.. we have saw that rubber ball bouncing.. but not the steel ball... even you can't imagine that... And now give me a clear explaination that which bounces higher with explaination

AnsWer :-

The key to this explanation is the 'stored energy'.

When a rubber ball hits a surface, it COMPRESSES SLIGHTLY and then snaps back to its original shape.

When a STEEL ball hits the ground, it snaps back faster because a steel ball is better at storing energy than a rubber ball, which GIVES it a lot of bounce power.

Also, we can do it PRACTICALLY and the observation will be - The steel ball bounces higher than a rubber ball.

Note that when we drop these balls on a hard surface, the observation will remain the same.
