| Answer» Merismetic tissue is that tissue which has the power to divide again and again and it helps in the growth of plants.It is of three types:-1 APICAL MERISTEM:-It is present at the apex(top) of the plant and it helps in increasing the length of the plant.2 LATERAL MERISTEM:-It is present in the perifree (sides )of the plant and helps in the growth of the width of the plant.3 INTERCALARY MERISTEM:-It is present below thw nodes of the leaf and helps in the growth of plant\'s leaves. | |
