Answer» SOLUTION :Semiconductor : A meterial whose electrical conductivity is of the order of `10^(-9) - 10^(2) ohm^(-1) cm^(-1)` is CALLED a semiconductor. It allows flow of current only in one direction. There are two TYPES of SEMICONDUCTORS : (i) p-type semiconductor, (ii) n-type semiconductor. |
