What is difference between an anion and catio? |

Answer» A cation has a positive charge as it has lost an electron. An anion has a negative charge as it has gained an electron. Their diffences are their charge, one is positive and the other is negative. Cations are metals, and anions are non-metals. They will move in different directions in an electric field. Their similarities is that they both have a charge. Both will move in an electrical field. Plz give me short answer |
