1.	What is difference between calcination and roasting ?
Answer» Solution :Calcination : Calcination is a process of heating the concentrated ore below its melting POINT with limited supply of AIR , or in the absence of air. ROASTING : the concentrated ore is oxidised with limited OXYGEN . HOWEVER the sulphide ore is oxidised with excess oxygen by roasting process.
