What Is Icp®? |

Answer» ICP® is a registered trademark of PCB Piezotronics INC. It is a PCB® SENSOR containing built-in electronics which can be powered by 2-20 mA of constant current power. An accelerometer that runs off ICP® sensor power will have electronics in the housing. For a condenser MICROPHONE to run off this same ICP® sensor power, you will require a PREPOLARIZED microphone and a preamplifier which houses the built-in electronics.
