What is meant by chirality of a compound,. Give one example. |
Answer» SOLUTION : A COMPOUND is said to be chiral if it EXISTS in two stereosiomeric FORMS which are non-superimposable mirror images of each other. This property of non-superimposability is called CHIRALITY and the two compounds which are non-superimpossible mirror images of each other are called enantiomers. |
