What is the difference between Burn-up and burndown charts? |
|
Answer» Burn-up and burndown charts are the two TYPES of charts which track the PROGRESS of the projects. A burndown chart shows how much work is REMAINING and burn-up chart shows how much work is completed. These charts are collectively used in Agile projects. The burndown chart shows the team did not ACCOMPLISH much in the PROJECT but could finish all the tasks in the end. The burn-up chart indicates that the scope increased in the beginning and some scope was removed to meet the deadline of the project. The team then made steady progress throughout the project. |
