In general, it's malicious software that allows an attacker on the other side of the Internet to gain unauthorized access to a computer system or network by accepting remote commands. Trap DOOR software monitors a specific Transmission Control PROTOCOL (TCP) or User Datagram Protocol (UDP) PORT for orders. |
