Answer» The SEAL may accumulate debris or residue over time. The intention is to remove the grid cap and replace the seal on MODEL 130A24. If a change in frequency response (at high frequencies) after REPEATED use in HOSTILE environments is seen, then it may be time to replace the seal. The grid cap should be installed immediately after CHANGING the pad. Instructions on replacing the pad are provided in the product manual. The seal may accumulate debris or residue over time.
