Answer» Solution :(i) `I^(-)` ions are adsorbed on AgI, forming NEGATIVELY charged colloid . (ii) `AG^(+)` ions are adsorbed on AGL , forming positively charged colloid. REASON for origin of charge is the perferential adsorption of common ions of the ELECTROLYTE present in excess. |
