Answer» We can separate a mixture of salt and ammonium chloride with the process called 'sublimation'. In this we take a China dish in which there is the mixture of salt and ammonium chloride. Now we have to take the funnel and invert it over the dish to cover the mixture. And now keep this China dish in a stand and heat it with the Bunsen burner. Now we can see that the ammonium chloride will be sticking onto the walls of the funnel and salt remains in the funnel. By this salt and ammonium chloride are separated. |
