| Answer» Solution :Magnetic SEPARATION can be used to separate magnetic ORES from the non-magnetic GANGUE. For instance, various ores of IRON such as HAEMATITE `(Fe_(2)O_(3))`, magnetite `(Fe_(3)O_(4))`, iron pyrites `(FeS_(2))` and siderite `(FeCO_(3))` are magnetic. Hence, these can be separated from non-magnetic impurities like silica, by magnetic separation. | |
