Answer» Solution :Nylon 6, 6 is a polymer of adipic acid and hexamethylenediamine. Both the MONOMERS have 6 carbon ATOMS each. Nylon 6 is a polymer of CAPROLACTAM which CONTAINS 6 carbon atoms. Thus, the NUMBERS refer to the number of carbon atoms in monomers involved.
