1.	Why are Zn,MnNi,Co not precipitated n the group III as hydroxides?
Answer» Solution :The solubility PRODUCTS of hydroxides of Zn, Mn, Ni and Co are very high for this purpose they require high CONCENTRATION of `OH^(ɵ)` ions. This is not possible in the group III as `NH_(4)Cl` suppresses the ionisation of `NH_(4)OH` DUE to common ION effect.
