Answer» The idea of sleeping alone in the office room was quite frightful. Swami thought at first that his father was only joking. He tried to change the topic. He announced that they were going to admit even elders in their cricket club thereafter. Swami’s father was indifferent and told him that they would see about it later. Now Swami realized that his father was determined to make him sleep alone in the office room. कार्यालय-कक्ष में अकेले सोने का विचार बहुत ही डरावना था। पहले तो स्वामी ने यह सोचा था कि उसके पिता मजाक कर रहे हैं। उसने विषय को बदलने की कोशिश की। उसने घोषणा की कि वह बड़ों के क्रिकेट क्लब में इसके बाद शामिल होने जा रहा है। स्वामी के पिता इसके प्रति तटस्थ थे तथा उन्होंने कहा कि वे यह सब बाद में देखेंगे। अब स्वामी को यह आभास हुआ कि उसके पिता कार्यालय कक्ष में उसे अकेले सुलाने को दृढ़-संकल्पित हैं। |
