It was first inaugurated in Paris in June 1914. Olympic flag is made of white silk and contains five inter locking rings/circle in five colours representing five continents of the world namely America, Europe, Australiya, Asia and Africa, The five rings have different colours namely yellow, green red blue and black. The interlocking of ring circle symbolizes co-operation and friendship.The\xa0Olympic flame\xa0is a symbol used in the Olympic movement. It is also a symbol of unity and friendship.An Olympic medal is awarded to successful competitors at one of the Olympic Games.
