I would like to apply for leave from the 1st to the 5th of February 2020 as I have to attend an important family gathering. Most of my family lives abroad and this is the only time they will all be meeting together in one place. Many of us have not met in years. So this week, my aunt is organizing a family get-together at my native. Since most of the attendees live far away and have already taken the time to come during this week, the dates cannot be changed. Therefore, I would like to apply for leave for the above period. I am well aware that this date is very close to my examinations but I can assure you that I shall make up for the classes as well as complete my notes well on time.
