A + B → Products 

The reaction is zero order in A and second order in B. 

Hence the rate law is represented as, 

Rate = k [A]0 [B]2

Rate = k[B]2

(b) Given : 

2NO(g) + Br2(g) → 2NOBr(g) 

The reaction is second order in NO and first in Br2

Hence the rate law is, 

∴ Rate = k [NO]2 [Br2]

∴ (a) Rate law : Rate = k[B]2

(b) Rate law : Rate = k [NO]2 [Br2]
