Answer» Because they warm up and help to protect cold wind and they are very SOFT too. As far as modern practices are CONCERNED, we are not harming the sheep . We are just taking their hair to meet our needs. So, it QUITE does not hurt the sheep. So, we need not worry about that and i do not think there is any other problem that a sheep FACES. Sheep is the only source of wool. Removal of the fleece or hair of the sheep along with a thin layer of the skin is called shearing. shearing is usually done with the help of mechanical shears and is usually done by hand.Explanation: |
