1. The impact of Multi level security to protecting sensitivity data at a University

Answer»

Protecting sensitive or confidential data is paramount in many businesses. In the event such information is made public, businesses may face legal or financial ramifications. At the very least, they will suffer a loss of customer trust. In most cases, however, they can recover from these financial and other losses with appropriate investment or compensation.

The same cannot be said of the defense and related communities, which includes military services, intelligence organizations and some areas of police service. These organizations cannot easily recover should sensitive information be leaked, and may not recover at all. These communities require higher levels of security than those employed by businesses and other organizations.

Having information of different security levels on the same computer systems poses a real threat. It is not a straight-forward matter to isolate different information security levels, even though different users log in using different accounts, with different permissions and different access controls.

Some organizations go as far as to purchase dedicated systems for each security level. This is often prohibitively expensive, however. A mechanism is required to enable users at different security levels to access systems simultaneously, without fear of information contamination.

The knights were soldiers or warriors. They were related to the nobles. The noble gave the knight an area of land called fief and the knight pledged to protect it. Fief Gould be transferred hereditarily. A fief could be anything between 1000 to 2000 acres. It had a house in which the knight and family could live, a church, a watermill, and a vinery. The statement is very much true because if we observe social division and politics together at first sight, it would appear that the combination of politics and social division is very explosive and dangerous.

(a) Democracy involves competition among various political units/parties. Their competition tends to divide and if they start competing in terms of some existing social divisions it can make social division into political divisions and lead to conflict, violence or even disintegration of a country. This has happened in many countries like India, Belgium, etc.

(b) In the case of Northern Ireland, this region of the United Kingdom has been for many years the site of violent and bitter ethno-political conflict. All this shows that politics and social divisions, must not be allowed to mix’.

Explain how Human Geography in the early 20th century has become more integrative and inter- disciplinary in its approach.

Answer»

The subject matter of human geography continues to grow over the period. It has widened its scope considerably. In the early 20th century, several new branches emerged out of it such as population geography, political geography, agricultural geography, etc. Its aim was to study emerging issues and problems like political dimensions and social relevance. In doing so, human geography has not only become more integrative and interdisciplinary in nature but has also incorporated several new approaches into its field. It gives the necessary spatial and systematic view point to the other social sciences which they otherwise lack. At the same time, human geography draws on other sciences, the analysis and identifies with its sub-fields such as political, economic and social geography.
