Name any chemical reaction that have chances to explode |
Answer» Answer: The vast majority of explosives are chemical explosives. Explosives usually have less POTENTIAL energy than FUELS, but their high rate of energy release produces a great blast pressure. TNT has a detonation velocity of 6,940 m/s compared to 1,680 m/s for the detonation of a pentane-air mixture, and the 0.34-m/s stoichiometric flame speed of gasoline combustion in air. In some cases explosives can be made to fall into either class by the conditions under which they are initiated. In sufficiently large quantities, almost all low explosives can undergo a Deflagration to Detonation TRANSITION (DDT). For convenience, low and high explosives may be differentiated by the shipping and storage classes.....☺ Explanation: |

Freezing is the reverse of melting .explain |
Answer» Answer: Explanation: FREEZING is the process of changing a LIQUID into a solid by cooling whereas melting is the process of changing a solid into a liquid by heating. Explain the reactions of non metals with acid? |
Answer» Answer: Non-metals do not react with acids. This is due to the FACT that a substance undergoing reaction with acids, donates electrons to the H+ ions PRODUCED by the acids. But non-metals are acceptor of electrons and hence they do not donate electron to the hydrogen ion of the acid. PLEASE MARK AS BRAINLIEST ANSWER AND FOLLOW ME |

Which has more number of atoms 10 gm of sodium or 100 gm of magnesium? |
Answer» Answer: Since 100 GRAMS of sodium has more MOLES, it contains more ATOMS than 100 grams of iron. As we know , the one - MOLE atoms contains 6.022 multiply 10 ^23 atoms . so , more the number of moles , more the number of atoms . and hence 100 G pf Na atoms has a greater number of atoms than 100 g Fe . How to convert aniline to p-nitroaniline |
Answer» Aniline when treated with ACETOACETATE will PRODUCE Nacetyl aniline. This if treated with H2SO4/HNO2/CH3COOH will produce paranito nacetyl aniline, which on hydrolysis will GIVE para nito aniline. a bit of ortho form will also form but it will be very LITTLE and can be easily separated by distillation. |

Describe structure of modern periodic table.. |
Answer» In the MODERN PERIODIC Table, the elements are arranged in the ORDER of their INCREASING Atomic number. The modern periodic table contains 18 vertical columns which are called groups and 7 horizontal rows that are called periods. The first vertical column or group contain Alkali metals. The second group contains Alkaline earth metals The first and the second groups together constitute the S-block. After that, comes the D-block which contains 10 groups from IB to VIIIB, the group VIIIB itself is a COLLECTION of 3 groups. The F-block elements are present below the D-b;ock. After it, the P-block elements come which constitute 6 groups from IIIA to VIIIA. Hope it helps |

Can anyone explain stoichiometry by giving an example. |
Answer» STOICHIOMETRY is founded on the law of conservation of mass where the total mass of the reactants equals the total mass of the products, leading to the insight that the relations among quantities of reactants and products typically form a ratio of positive integers. This means that if the amounts of the separate reactants are known, then the amount of the product can be calculated. Conversely, if one reactant has a known quantity and the quantity of the products can be empirically DETERMINED, then the amount of the other reactants can also be calculated. This is illustrated in the image here, where the balanced equation is: CH 4 + 2 O 2 → CO 2 + 2 H 2O. Here, one molecule of METHANE reacts with two molecules of oxygen gas to yield one molecule of carbon dioxide and two molecules of WATER. This particular chemical equation is an example of complete combustion. Stoichiometry measures these quantitative relationships, and is used to determine the amount of products and reactants that are produced or needed in a given reaction. Describing the quantitative relationships among substances as they participate in chemical reactions is known as reaction stoichiometry. In the example above, reaction stoichiometry measures the relationship between the methane and oxygen as they react to form carbon dioxide and water. Because of the well known relationship of moles to atomic weights, the ratios that are arrived at by stoichiometry can be used to determine quantities by weight in a reaction described by a balanced equation. This is called composition stoichiometry. Gas stoichiometry deals with reactions involving gases, where the gases are at a known temperature, pressure, and volume and can be assumed to be ideal gases. For gases, the volume ratio is IDEALLY the same by the ideal gas law, but the mass ratio of a single reaction has to be calculated from the molecular masses of the reactants and products. In practice, due to the existence of isotopes, molar masses are used instead when calculating the mass ratio.
