Creative Writing On your mother’s birthday, you decided to give her a surprise …. Write an interesting event creatively in not more than 150 words

Answer»

My father decided to throw a surprise party for her. Two weeks, before the event he booked a room in my mother's favourite cafe. And then my father began to INVITE our relatives and friends. Of course, that was a great secret. It was sometimes difficult to keep mother from suspecting anything. It was also difficult to make some people understand that it was to be a surprise. For example, the only time he could ring mother's parents was when she happened to be in the house. HOWEVER, she didn't suspect anything and her parents didn't said a word about the invitation. Two weeks such secret planning was more than father could stand. He was glad when that DAY ARRIVED but nervous in case something went wrong. He had told mother that they would just go shopping. She agreed as she didn't often make a big fuss of her birthday. My father had bought her a beautiful dress and she wore it when they went out. They wandered along the river and then around the shops. It was a lovely day and many people were out. Father was very nervous, because if mother guesses his surprise will be ruined. Eventually it was time for my father to suggest having a meal at their favourite cafe. It would be his treat as a kind of birthday present. Mother readily agreed. Great was my mother's surprise when she saw her sister-in-law's car parked outside the cafe and greater when in the foyer she saw ray brother and me, though we had to be at the university. What a crowd of people she found INSIDE ready to wish her a happy birthday. My mother was very happy!

B. Short Answer Type Questions I1. Define agriculture.2. What is tilling?3. What is broadcasting?4. What is threshing?5. Which agricultural task has to be completed before sowing?6. What are weeds?7. Name two common weedicides.18

Answer»

Answer:

Agriculture :-

Agriculture is the science and art of cultivating plants and livestock. Agriculture was the key development in the rise of sedentary human CIVILIZATION, whereby farming of domesticated species created food SURPLUSES that enabled people to live in cities. The HISTORY of agriculture began thousands of years ago.

Tilling:-

Ploughing is the process of loosening and turning over of soil. It is also known as tilling. The soil is tilled with a PLOUGH, drawn by the bullocks or driven by a tractor.

Broadcasting :-

Broadcasting is the distribution of audio or video content to a dispersed audience via any electronic mass communications medium, but typically one using the electromagnetic spectrum (radio waves), in a one-to-many model.

Threshing:-

Threshing is the process of loosening the edible part of grain from the straw to which it is attached. It is the step in grain preparation after reaping. Threshing does not remove the bran from the grain. Threshing may be done by beating the grain using a flail on a threshing floor.

4) the main task which has to be done before sowing is called ploughing or tilling . the land has to be levelled before sowing . this is done by plough and leveller. ploughing makes the soil loose which helps the microorganisms(blue-green algae) to flourish.

5) Weedicides are the chemicals which are sprayed over field to get rid of weeds. They will not show any effect on crop plants. Two popularly used weedicides are 2,4-D Ethyl ESTER, Neem extract, Glyphosate etc.

Discriptive writing on a visit to a food court

Answer»

Answer:

To begin with, this food court is on the sixth floor of a shopping complex which is only 15 minutes DRIVE away from my living place. So naturally, it is easy for me to reach there whenever I want!

These days, food courts and fast food shops are springing up all over the place - they are even spreading across the residential area and are quite famous among local inhabitants. The food court I am talking about occupies the entire 6th floor and has more than 25 stalls selling all sorts of local food, international cuisine, different types of deserts and drinks.

Last month I went there with two of my friends to enjoy a MEAL and we had a large PIZZA and a few glasses of smoothies. Different stalls in this food court mainly offer rice, fish, chicken, mutton, naan roti, kebab, soups, spring onions, and a variety of sushi as traditional Chinese cuisine, and different other western food. Pizza and STEAK are perhaps famous among youngsters and rice & soup among adults. These shops open early in the morning and serve food to customers till 10.00 pm.

This place looks like any other traditional food court in our city but it has a far better sitting arrangement. All these shops give free samples to attract new customers and they often offer a special menu to regular customers. From a distance, it looks packed, especially during the lunch hours, but once you're there to enjoy your meal, you will notice a vibrant and lively vibe, full of young people enjoying their food and their animated conversations.

From the number of people GO there each day, one can say that it is quite a popular food court. If you are ever there, the busy waiters and the sound of the cash registers would give you an impression that a large number of people like to have their meals at this place. Foreign tourists who like to enjoy local food at a reasonable price often pick this location, perhaps they find this place from Google Local and Foursquare. From my experience, I can say that it’s a popular place to enjoy meals and drinks and to hang out with friends.

THE BEST CHARACTER IN A BOOK I HAVE READ. 3. LAUGHTER IS BEST MEDICINE. 4. WHY GRANDPARENTS ARE SPECIAL? PLEASE ANSWER FAST.

Answer»

Answer:

Explanation:

When i was about 7 or 8 years old me, my mother, my brother and my SISTER visited a farm kinda place (it was sort of a tiny ZOO with farm animals). Anyway they had a goat chained to a wooden stick but the chain was kinda long so it could walk around freely. So i walked up to the goat and i can't remember exactly what i did but for some reason it got very mad with me and it rushed me and ramed me with the horns. Tiny as i was i flew about 2 meters back and hit the ground. I felt kinda dizzy for the rest of the day.

But thats not all! Since i wasn't seriously injured or anything we continued to walk around and look at the animals. Me and my brother entered an area with a fence around it. In that area (it was kinda big) there lived a old kinda large turkey. So me and my brother kinda stood in a corner CLOSE to the enterance and WATCHED the birds as they walked about. After a while i walked up to the big turkey, i can remember i wanted to poke it on the beak or pat it on the head or something like that. Anyway the turkey did not approve of this and started doing some wierd sound. Naturally i got scared and started to back away from the BIRD. Maybe this made the bird mad i'm not really sure. But before i knew it i was running for my life chased by this big bird. Since i was stilly slightl dizzy from being rammed by the goat i lost my balance and fell to the ground. Luckily the bird wasn't to agressive so when i fell to the ground it just kinda waved with it wings and made a loud noice.

He is a very successful, right-handed middle-order batsman and wicketkeeper. He has been the Captain of the Indian National Cricket team from 2007 to 2016.

Dhoni was born in the North-Eastern Indian STATE of Bihar in 1981. He was born in a middle class family where his father was a junior manager in a government-owned Engineering company.
