Write a couple of paragraph on importance of friends in our life

Answer»

ANSWER:

Explanation:

When we are born, we get associated with our family by blood relation. However, there is a relation, which we choose ourselves. That relation is a friend.  Friends make our life beautiful.  The adventure of life becomes beautiful when good friends surround US. We all belong to a family, where we have our parents, grandparents, siblings, cousins, etc. We get immense love, care, attention and guidance from our family. However, our entire life does not revolve AROUND our family members only. We all have our own purpose in life. Some members of our family go to school, some go to college, and our parents go to work. We all have a life outside our family. No journey of life seems interesting when traveled alone. We tend to make friends outside our family boundaries as that makes all life activities enjoyable.

In our lifetime we choose our own friends. The journey of life becomes memorable because of friends. FRIENDSHIP is a lovely relation without which life seems dull. It is the relationship with our friends that teaches us to share, love, care and most importantly helps us to FIGHT odds and be successful. Having true friends acts as a boon. Friends increase the sense of belongingness and generate a feel-good factor. We all thrive and look for at least one that friend who at times criticizes and appreciates too. Emotional and psychological attachments are important and can only be experienced with friends.

Information on ramanujam

Answer»

Explanation:

Srinivasa Ramanujan (1887-1920) was an Indian mathematician who made great and original contributions to many mathematical fields, including complex analysis, number theory, infinite series, and continued fractions. He was "discovered" by G. H. Hardy and J. E. LITTLEWOOD, two world-class mathematicians at Cambridge, and enjoyed an extremely fruitful period of collaboration with them from 1914 to 1919. Unfortunately, his mathematical career was curtailed by health PROBLEMS; he RETURNED to India and died when he was only 32 years old.

Hardy, who was a great mathematician in his own right, RECOGNIZED Ramanujan's genius from a series of letters that Ramanujan sent to mathematicians at Cambridge in 1913. Like much of his writing, the letters contained a dizzying array of unique and difficult results, stated without much explanation or proof. The contrast between Hardy, who was above all concerned with mathematical rigor and purity, and Ramanujan, whose writing was difficult to read and peppered with mistakes but bespoke an almost supernatural insight, produced a rich partnership.

Since his death, Ramanujan's writings (many contained in his famous notebooks) have been studied extensively. Some of his conjectures and assertions have led to the creation of new fields of study. Some of his formulas are believed to be true but as yet unproven.

There are many existing biographies of Ramanujan. The Man Who Knew Infinity, by Robert Kanigel, is an accessible and well-researched historical account of his life. The rest of this wiki will give a brief and light summary of the mathematical life of Ramanujan. As an appetizer, here is an anecdote from Kanigel's book

3. What was weird about Phileas Fogg?

Answer»

ANSWER:

good morning

Explanation:

The protagonist of the novel. Phileas Fogg is a wealthy, eccentric, solitary English gentleman who is about forty years old and LIVES in Saville Row, London. With a strange obsession with routine and punctuality, and no close relationships, Fogg is a mystery to those around him and spends all of his time gambling and reading newspapers at the Reform Club social organization. The same day that he hires a new servant, Jean Passepartout, Fogg makes an impulsive wager of £20,000 with his fellow whist players that he can travel around the world in eighty days—leaving that night, October 21st, 1872 at 8:45 P.M, and arriving BACK on December 21st at 8:45 P.M. He brings Passepartout with him on his journey, and they travel to Egypt, India, China, Japan, the United States, and back to England in order to traverse all 360 degrees of the globe. Unbeknownst to Fogg, his wealth, odd habits, and the reckless wager have made him the prime suspect of a recent bank robbery, and he is being trailed across the world by Detective Fix from the Scotland Yard. Throughout the trip, Fogg calmly faces and solves myriad obstacles and delays (usually with money) and forms close relationships with Passepartout and the other companions he meets by chance along the way—particularly Aouda, a young woman they save from being sacrificed in India, who gradually falls in love with Fogg as she is brought along on the adventure. When they finally make it back to England on the last day of the wager, Fix arrests Fogg, a delay that prevents him from winning the bet even after the real bank robber is apprehended and he is released. Thanks to Passepartout, HOWEVER, they realize the next day that they had failed to factor the International Date Line into their meticulous calculations of time—it is Saturday rather than Sunday, and Fogg STILL has ten minutes to win the wager. He makes it to the Reform Club three seconds before 8:45 and successfully completes the bet. The story ends with the marriage of Fogg and Aouda, a happy union that Fogg believes made his adventure worth it.

Describe Bruno’s journey back to his foster family.

Answer»

Explanation:

Bruno decides to speak to Father, who arrived at Out-With a few days earlier. Bruno remembers leaving their house in Berlin that morning - it hadn't looked like their home anymore, with all the furniture and decorations packed up. Before they left, Mother had said, "We should never have let the FURY come to dinner... Some PEOPLE and their determination to get ahead" (40). Maria had overheard her and Mother had tried to backtrack, becoming EMBARRASSED. Maria had been embarrassed, too, and had quickly gotten in the car.

After leaving their house in Berlin, Bruno and his family had arrived at the train station. On the other side of the train tracks from their train, there had been another train being boarded by crowds of people looking uncomfortable. It occured to Bruno that since the trains are going in the same direction, some of them MIGHT come on board his train, but he doesn't say anything.

Now, at Out-With, Bruno watches his Father standing in a circle of men outside his new home office. Bruno overhears them talking poorly of the former commandant. Father silences them and reminds them that they will have a new beginning tomorrow, with him as their leader. As they leave, they salute him and shout out "the two words that Bruno had been taught to say whenever ANYONE said it to him" (44). Bruno approaches Father's office cautiously, since he has been told it is Out Of Bounds At All Times And No Exceptions. He knocks and Father tells him to come in.
