How amoeba take their nutrition?

Answer» \t\xa0Amoeba is a unicellular , omnivore organism that does not possess specialised organ for the process of nutrition .\t\xa0The mode of nutrition in Amoeba is HOLOZOIC and takes place with the help of pseudopodia ( finger like structure ) .\t\xa0It engulfs food when it comes in contact with its cell surface by ingestion .\t\xa0Pseudopodia fuses over food particle to form food vacuole .\t\xa0Digestion in Ameoba is INTRACELLULAR in nature. Inside the food vacuole, complex food breaks into small soluble molecules , This process is called ABSORPTION .\t\xa0The absorbed food is further ASSIMILATED by Amoeba to derive energy for growth.\t The undigested food material is removed by the cell membrane, which ruptures suddenly at any place and eliminates out the undigested food.\t\xa0The process of throwing out undigested food is called EGESTION .\xa0

Differences between nuclear reactions and chemical reactions??

Answer» \tChemical ReactionNuclear ReactionChemical reaction normally occurs outside the nucleus.Nuclear reaction happens only inside the nucleus. When chemical reactions occur elements hold their identity and the nuclei of atoms also remains unchanged.During nuclear reactions, the nuclei of atoms changes completely and new elements are formed.Chemical reaction can be influenced by pressure or temperature.Nuclear reaction is independent of such factors.During such reactions there is low energy change.Energy changes accompanying nuclear reactions are relatively higher and larger. There is breaking of old bonds and formation of new chemical bonds in a chemical reaction. No such activity is involved during nuclear reactions.Chemical reactions can either be reversible or irreversible.Nuclear reactions are mostly irreversible.\t

Distinguish between luminous and non luminous object?

Answer» The objects which are able to emit their own light are called luminous objects. The objects which aren\'t able to emit their own light are called non-luminous objects.Luminous objects has their own source. Non-luminous objects hasn\'t its own source but reflects the light of other source.Sun, moon, burning candle are examples of luminous objects. Book, pencil, bench are the examples of non-luminous objects.

Define the incident ray, reflecting ray, normal and the point of incident?

Answer» Konsa bestie he Tamara?
Nyc
Mtlb hai ki mai apni bestie ki bestie hu...meri bestie ne mujhe ye name diya hai...
Bestie ki bestie ka matlab Kya he
Incident ray: The ray of light that falls on the reflecting surface is called incident ray. Reflected ray: The ray that bounces back from the reflecting surface, after reflection from it is called reflected ray. Normal: The line which is drawn perpendicular to the reflecting surface, at the point of incidence is called the normal at that point. Point of incidence: The point at which the incident ray strikes the reflecting surface is called point of incidence.

Name different glands their enzymes and functions

Answer» a) Salivary glands secrete saliva along with enzymes.Ptyalin is the strach hydrolysing enzyme secreted by salivary glands in human beings. It is also called as salivary amylase. Ptyalin secreted in the mouth brings about digestion of starch in the mouth itself. It hydrolyses starch into disaccharaides like maltose and isomaltose and other small dextrins called as limit dextrins. Ptyalin hydrolyses at about 30 percent of the starch in the mout itself.b) Gastric glands secrete HCL, pepsinogen, mucous.Gastric juice is a secretion of gastric glands located in the lining of the stomach. It is mainly made up of electrolytes, mucus, enzymes, hydrochloric acid, intrinsic factor etc. HCl secreted by parietal cells provides acidic medium for many enzymes to get activated. Neck cells secrete mucus which lubricated the passage of the food. Chief cells secrete pepsinogen which helps in the digestion of proteins after getting activated into pepsin by HCl. Enzymes of the gastric juice bring about digestion of different components of the food. Gastric lipase helps in emulsification of lipids in the stomach. Partially digested food in the stomach is called as chyme and this passes on into small intestinec) Intestinal glands are present in the inner lining of small intestine. These secrete various enzymes which aid in the process of digestion of all the components of food. Maltase, sucrase and lactase bring about digestion of carbohydrates. Peptidases help in digestion of proteins. Enterokinase helps in the activation of other enzymesd) Liver is the largest gland in our body. The liver secretes a yellowish green watery fluid called bile. It is temporarily stored in a sac called the gall bladder. Bile provides an alkaline environment for many enzymes to get active. It also reduces the acidity of chyme. Bile plays an important role in the digestion of fats. Bile is sent into duodenum through a narrow tube-like structure called the bile duct. Bile breaks the larger fat molecules into tiny droplets, thereby increasing their surface area, which helps in the digestion of fats easily.e) Pancreas is the mixed gland. It acts as both endocrine and exocrine gland. The pancreas secretes the pancreatic juice that helps to digest carbohydrates, proteins and fats. The pancreatic juice converts carbohydrates into simple sugars and glucose, proteins into amino acids, and the lipids into fatty acids and glycerol. Trypsin and chymotrypsin help in the digestion of proteins.
