What do you think about art |
Answer» Art is something we do, a verb. Art is an expression of our THOUGHTS, emotions, INTUITIONS, and desires, but it is even more personal than that: it's about sharing the way we experience the WORLD, which for many is an extension of PERSONALITY. ... Assess the role of Amrita Shergil in the development of contemporary Indian Art. |
Answer» Amrita Sher-Gil is among the pioneers of modern Indian paintings. She was born in Hungary (Budapest, in 1913) and grew up in a Sikh family. Her father was a Sikh aristocrat and her mother was a Hungarian musician. She took her ARTISTIC education from Florence and from the world famous Ecole Nationale Des Beaux Arts under the direction of Lucien Simon. After working in Europe, she RETURNED to the Indian sub-continent in 1934 and STARTED to depict the spirit of rural life through paintings. She was an admirer of frescos of Ajanta and Ellora caves and loved Indian miniature paintings. She was wholeheartedly devoted to Indian art and culture and her devotion is immensely blended in her paintings after her arrival in the sub-continent. She had married her cousin Victor EGAN and spent her last moments in Lahore (Pakistan). Her artistic voyage has remained unnished due to her sudden death at the age of 28. She particularly painted rural women in a strong and powerful manner and almost succeeded in capturing some neglected areas of the life of women in dull color schemes (Luker and Ann 2002, Sinha 2003, Sen 2006). In Amrita Sher-Gil’s paintings, a cultural variation may be seen between the two periods of her life, rst one during her residence in Europe and the next one after her arrival in the sub-continent. It is her hybridity which made her an accomplished observer of the indigenous spirit of sub-continental culture. She gripped the intimacy of the Eastern culture after exploring the multiplicity of the Western one. She admied, after coming to the sub-continent, that it is the only SOLUTION to her artistic pursuit. This residential switch from Eastern to Western world is not only visible in her life style but is reflected in her paintings as well. Likewise, her personality, living style, dressing sense also changed after relocating. She was fascinated more by folk and rural culture than the urban one (Sundaram 2010). |

Which the best manga app to read coloured manga |
Answer» tion:Recently, I covered some of the best comic BOOK reader apps that are available on the Android platform. I received a few emails from readers asking me to do a similar write up on best manga reader apps Android.Though manga has been around in the Japanese culture for a long time now, it has spread its wings and is now followed by the rest of the world. Without further ado, here are some of the best manga apps for Android and iOS users.Note: If you are new to manga, like me, then you should know, it is read backward from right to left. This is because the traditional language of Japanese is also WRITTEN in the same fashion. So, it’s recommended to read manga on a dedicated app instead of using a comic book reader app.Best Manga App for Android1. Shonen JumpShonen Jump is an Android and iOS app which lets you read Shonen Jump series for free. Some of the popular titles from the Shonen Jump series include Boruto, Dr. Stone, and One Piece. All the latest chapters are available for free on the same day it’s released in Japan. The only CAVEAT is, you can only read up to 100 chapters every day from the Shonen Jump series for free, however, you can remove this restriction by paying $1.99 per month.Shonen Jump app screenshotPrice: Free, $1.99 every monthPros: Latest manga collection, no ads.Cons: Read up to 100 chapters, include titles only available on Shonen Jump seriesVerdict: Shonen Jump is a good starting ground with little to offer so you can concentrate on reading and understanding the manga world. Get yourself familiarize.Download Shonen Jump Android | iOS2. Crunchyroll MangaCrunchyroll Manga comes with a subscription model that will open the floodgates to not only manga but also anime. Creating an account is free and will give you access to a number of free manga and anime comic books. You cannot sign up using your social media account though. The free but best manga reader app account will allow you to add manga to favorites, bookmarks, and orientation features. If you want the latest manga books (like Attack on Titan) that are being published in Japan as soon as they hit the stands, then Crunchyroll is the app to use.Crunchyroll Manga app screenshotPrice: $6.95Pros: You get access to anime as well as manga, as soon as they are released in Japan, thanks to simulpubs. Manga comics come with English subtitles.Cons: The app is not the best manga reader app when it comes to UI. The app is guilty of sending too many notifications which can be annoying. Some users have also reported of pages being out of order. Verdict: The dev team behind Crunchyroll has been busy with their dedicated anime app which is why this one is getting little love. The app has a huge with the latest issues being made available real quick.Download Crunchyroll Manga: Android | iOS3. MangaZoneMangaZone is another manga app for Android that was developed with a focus on manga lovers. You will find more than 15000 titles translated into the English language, ready to be read. The interface is clean but a little buggy. Where it differs is the community section where readers can communicate and chat with other manga readers and fans. For some unknown reason, the app is no longer available on the Google Play store, but you can still sideload the Android version from the official website or the iOS version from the App Store.mangazone app screenshotPrice: Free (ad-supported)Pros: There is a free selection that has been translated into English, and you can connect with other fans.Cons: The app is a little buggy and you will need to be patient with it.Verdict: MangaZone is a good manga reader app with a decent collection of manga titles to choose from. The only issue is the UI which is in dire need of an upgrade.Download MangaZone: Android | iOS4. Manga RockManga Rock is one of the most popular manga reader apps for Android. It has over 1 million downloads on Play Store with over 100k manga titles under its belt. The UI is beautiful and works FLAWLESSLY. They have a huge collection of manga comics but what makes it even better is the curated collections. This manga reader app will follow your reading habits and will suggest titles accordingly. Some of the issues that I faced in the previous apps mentioned are non-existent here. It SUPPORTS different viewing modes and orientation with regular features like favorites and bookmarks. |

Write the definition of civics by F.J Gould |
Answer» Civics DERIVES from the Latin word civicus, meaning "relating to a citizen", and the Latin civica, a garland of oak leaves worn about the head as a crown, a practice in ANCIENT Rome wherein someone who saved another Roman citizen from death in war was rewarded with the civica and the right to wear it. It is analogous to modern day military medals. The term itself ultimately derives from the Latin civis, meaning citizen. The English usage of civics relates to behavior affecting other citizens, particularly in the context of urban development. Civic education is the study of the theoretical, political and practical aspects of citizenship, as well as its rights and duties. It includes the study of civil LAW and civil code, and the study of government with ATTENTION to the role of citizens―as opposed to external factors―in the operation and oversight of government. |

Answer» Explanation:Sandeep Maheshwari is a name among MILLIONS who struggled, failed and surged ahead in search of SUCCESS, happiness and contentment. Just like any other middle class guy, he too had a bunch of unclear dreams and a blurred vision of his goals in life. All he had was an undying learning attitude to hold on to. Rowing through ups and downs, it was time that taught him the true meaning of his life. And once discovered, he consistently kept resigning from his COMFORT zone and to share the secret of his success with the entire WORLD. Write a report of the kabaddi match which you have seen in an international competition |
Answer» Explanation:Kabaddi is a contact team SPORT, native to the INDIAN subcontinent,[1]:305 played between two teams of seven players each. The objective of the game is for a single player on offense, referred to as a "raider", to run into the opposing team's half of a court, tag out as many of their defenders as possible, and return to their own half of the court, all without being tackled by the defenders, and in a single breath. Points are scored tagged by the raider, while the opposing team earns a point for stopping the raider. Players are taken out of the game if they are tagged or tackled, but are brought back in for each point scored by their team from a tag or tackle. It is popular in South ASIA and other SURROUNDING Asian countries. Although accounts of kabaddi appear in the histories of ancient India, the game was popularised as a competitive sport in the 20th century. It is the national sport of Bangladesh.[2][3] It is the state game of the Indian states of Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Haryana, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Odisha, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, and Uttar Pradesh.[4]There are two major disciplines of kabaddi: so-called Punjabi kabaddi, also referred to as circle style, comprises traditional forms of the sport that are played on a circular field outdoors, while the standard style, played on a rectangular court indoors, is the discipline played in major professional leagues and international competitions such as the Asian Games. The game is known by numerous names in different parts of South Asia, such as: kabaddi or chedugudu in Andhra Pradesh; kabaddi in Maharashtra, Karnataka, Kerala and Telangana; kabadi or ha-du-du in Bangladesh; bhavatik in Maldives, kauddi or kabaddi in the Punjab region; hu-tu-tu in Western India, hu-do-do in Eastern India; chadakudu in South India; kapardi in Nepal; and kabadi or sadugudu in Tamil Nadu.History of the gameKabaddi originated in the ancient Tamil region, which is predominantly present-day Tamil Nadu and parts of other South Indian states. Tamil empire spread this game to South East Asia during their sea trade. The word Kabaddi might have been derived from the Tamilnadu “kai-pidi” (கைபிடி) meaning “to hold hands”.There are accounts of Gautama Buddha having played the game recreationally.[citation needed]Despite these conflicting claims, India has been credited with having helped to popularize kabaddi as a competitive sport, with the first organized competitions occurring in the 1920s, their introduction to the programme of the Indian OLYMPIC Games in 1938, the establishment of the All-India Kabaddi Federation in 1950, and it being played as a demonstration sport at the inaugural 1951 Asian Games in New Delhi. These developments helped to formalize the sport, which had traditionally been played in villages, for legitimate international competition.[5][1][2]After being demonstrated again at the 1982 Asian Games in Delhi, kabaddi was added to the Asian Games' programme beginning in 1990.[PLZ MARK ME AS BRAINLIEST |
